Weight loss properties of sage

To know how to use sage for slimming we must first consider the weight loss properties of the plant.

  • Diuretic properties: sage is a plant that helps prevent fluid retention because it aids the elimination of toxins through urine.
  • Digestive properties: sage also helps improve intestinal transit, fighting constipation.
  • Carminative properties: taking sage prevents the accumulation of gases in our intestines and helps reduce inflammation of the stomach.

Sage is a wonderful spice. A little on an English muffin with melted cheese and a tomato slice tastes great. However, if someone goes overboard and eats way too mu.ch of it, it can cause seizures. Dried sage is very concentrated. But the amount you would normally eat is very savory!
