Clearing the mind is a widely practiced exercise in yoga sessions. Highly recommended for health and general welfare. It is difficult, and you won't manage on the first try. Constancy and time are needed. With practice, you'll be able to clear the mind easily and without great efforts.


A key aspect is to successfully clear your mind of all thoughts is to find a quiet place where there is no noise and in which no one can interrupt you. You must also have a comfortable surface to lie down and stay there as long as you need. Preferably, choosing a place that is close to nature and the environment will also be of great help.


Wear comfortable clothes, if you can wear white , the most neutral color. It is clean and that only this function destinies, to practice relaxation. Take your clothes off that you were wearing before and put these new clothes on.


Lay down. Put the body straight, arms relaxed with the palms up and slightly away from the body. Put your legs equally relaxed and slightly open at the hips. This is most suitable position to relax and clear the mind.

Release all the muscles, relax. Free yourself of all the tension and begin to breathe deeply. Begin filling your abdomen with air, as much as possible and suck it up for a few seconds. Then slowly release the air through the mouth and empty the abdomen, in a similar way that you breathe in Pilates. Hold this position for a few seconds to also begin the next step.


Focus only on breathing in each of the steps. Just feel how your stomach rises and deflates. Feel each of the part of the process slowly and concentrate on this. At some point, you will notice that almost do not feel your body and not think about nothing more than the process of breathing.


When you're relaxed and you start to feel the strength of your breathing slows until you no longer feel it, think of something white. Formless, figure, straight white color. Do not think about anything but that, concentrate.


Feel your body lose its strength and become delicate and soft as a feather. Feel your body weigh nothing and how the white of your mind is all you see.


Stay as long as possible while your body feels comfortable. At the time when the body needs to return to reality, bring it slowly. Start moving your feet, hands, legs, neck, and finally sit up very slowly.
