How to make onion and honey cough syrup

Onion and honey syrup is a perfect syrup to combat coughs when you have a cold or flue. It is also a natural remedy that we can make at home, we only need onion and honey. Next, we explain step by step how to prepare this natural syrup.

You'll need:

  • 1 large or 2 small onions.
  • glass jar, approximately 250 grams.
  • 2 spoonfuls of honey

Steps to follow:

Cut a large onion or two small onions into small pieces.

Place the chopped onions in a glass jar of 250 grams (8.8oz) and add two tablespoons of honey.

Mix well and leave to marinade for eight hours.

After the eight hours take the juice that has formed after soaking using a teaspoon.
