I am on Warfarin and advised not to drink Green Tea. Also there are other fruits / veggies
which produce Vitamin K which 'aid ' coagulation, thereby negating the purpose / effectiveness of taking it, something to be avoided by those in my case who have Atrial Fibrillation. Still a great website full of helpful information. I have water retention because I drink a lot of alcohol. When I stopped drinking for 2 weeks, the retention disappeared, my blood thickened up (INR 1.1 instead of the usual 2.5 )to the alarm of me and my Pharmacist. Obviously alcohol is thinning my blood so when I stopped drinking I needed to increase my daily dose of Warfarin.

what does infusion mean ?
OneHowTo Editor
It means to infuse the water with the flavor of another element, as you have with tea. It is usually most effect when the water is hot.
