Faced with a severe headaches, the food you eat should be simple, avoiding saturated fats and products that far from calm could increase discomfort


Increase your intake of steamed green leafy vegetables, not fried, experiment with their presentations. Steaming vegetables is a good way to maintain the vitamins they contain, whereas frying vegetables not only removes some of the vitamins, but adds a lot of fat.

Avoid anything that is a stimulant or depressant, such as smoking cigarettes, drinking coffee, alcohol or protein that will only worsen the situation


If you love sushi you can enjoy it even with a migraine but remember not to add soy sauce or teriyaki as though soy is beneficial, fermented soy products only cause migraines to worsen


Chocolate and cocoa products are not a good idea either, remove them from your diet while persisting discomfort


Other foods such as shellfish, animal protein, high fat dairy and high fat fermented cheese and citrus stimulate migraines so avoid them


Generally prefer a simple diet: whole grains, rice, lean animal proteins like turkey, chicken or fish mentioned above, legumes and vegetables and avoids excess sugar, industrial sweets and stimulants.
