When initiating treatment with these birth control pills, you should take a Yasmin tablet every day with a glass of water to swallow it. They can be taken with or without food, but note that it is important to take Yasmin tablets daily at approximately the same time.

4

The pack or blister contains 21 tablets of Yasmin and the day in which you must take it is printed un top of the pill. For example, if you start taking them on a Tuesday, you should take one tablet with "TUE" next and follow the direction of the arrow of the container to take 21 tablets.

After, you should not take any Yasmin tablets for 7 days - break week - during which you should have your period. After the rest of the seven days period, you should start the next pack of Yasmin, although your period has not finished. So you should start the next pack on the same day in which you started the previous one and that the period should occur during the same days each month.
