Oat biscuits for baby teething

Ingredients:

· 1 cup oats

· 1 cup coarse oat flour

· ¼ tsp of salt

· ¼ tsp each of cinnamon, ginger and cardamom

· ¼ tsp of nutmeg

· 1 tsp of baking powder

· 1 cup of mashed bananas (overripe)

· 1 tsp of vanilla extract

· 3 tablespoons of oil

Recipe:

· Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl

· Mix all the wet ingredients in a bowl

· Now add the mixture of wet ingredients to the bowl with dry ingredients

· Put circles of the mixture on a parchment paper or a greased baking sheet

· Bake in the oven oven for 15 minutes at 350 ºF/180 ºC.

Baby cereal teething biscuits

Ingredients:

· 1 cup of flour

· 1 cup of dry infant rice cereal

· 3 tbsp of cooking oil

· Ice water

Recipe:

· Preheat the oven to 425 ºF/220 ºC

· Mix the cereal and the flour

· Add oil to the mixture and then mix the ice water in little at a time until the dough starts to come together

· Pull off a ball of dough from the bowl and roll it between your palms until you achieve the thickness of a biscuit

· Use a cutter to cut the biscuits into your desired shape

· Grease a cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes, until they become light brown in color

· Let them cool and store in an air-tight container

Wheat thin biscuits

Ingredients:

· 3 cups of uncooked oatmeal

· 2 cups of whole wheat flour

· 1 cup of wheat germ

· 3 tbsp of sugar

· 1 tsp of salt

· ¾ cup of oil

· 1 cup of water

Recipe:

· Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl

· Roll out the mixture on a cookie sheet, sprinkle salt on it and roll again lightly to let the salt press down

· Cut into the desired shapes using a cutter

· Bake in the oven at 350 ºF/180 ºC for 15 minutes

· Check and remove the biscuits to see if they have hardened and turned golden brown

· If not, keep checking and until they are ready

Egg Yolk baby teething biscuits

Ingredients:

· 1 egg yolk (beaten)

· 3 tbsp of maple syrup

· 1 tsp of vanilla

· 1 ½ tbsp of oil

· ¼ cup of milk

· 1 tbsp of uncooked oatmeal

· 1 tbsp of soy flour

· 1 cup of wheat germ

· 1 tbsp of non-fat dry milk

Recipe:

· Mix all wet ingredients together in a bowl

· Add all dry ingredients to this bowl

· Make a stiff dough and roll out thin

· Cut into your desired shape or thin strips

· Spread on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 350 ºF/180 ºC
