During the maple syrup diet, you can have 2 liters of the mixture every day. You can also have herbal infusions, with the exception of tea and coffee. No other foods are permitted during the fasting days, as the goal of the maple syrup diet is to go through a complete process of detoxification, and the mixture based on maple syrup will provide all the nutrients you need.

Similarly, you should not smoke or drink alcohol during the diet, as they would upset the detoxification process.

Finally, we have to follow a post-diet for 3 days, which is exactly the same as the pre-diet. Once all stages are complete, you should not suddenly go back to eating all kinds of food; rather, you should let your metabolism adjust itself little by little by gradually reincorporating different foods into your diet.

Enjoy the diet!
